Ways To Pay
We offer a number of different ways to pay your gas bill. If you want to find out about the best way to pay for your gas, we can give you the information you need. We can help you decide the best payment option, whether you are a new or existing customer. You can pay your bill in any of the following ways, or contact the Customer Accounts Team during normal working hours to discuss your arrangements on 0845 900 5253*.
Direct Debit
You can pay monthly and receive a discount by using Direct Debit, of 0.2756p (inc. VAT) per kWh, up to a maximum of £22.05 (inc. VAT) per year. You decide in agreement with us to pay equal monthly payments by Direct Debit through your bank or building society. The payment amount is reviewed on an annual basis. Quarterly
If you pay your bill quarterly, your quarterly account will show the amount of gas that you have already used and is due for payment as soon as you receive it. Either;
- Post your payment directly to us at the address below
- Pay free at any Northern Bank
- Pay at other banks, however, you may have to pay a charge for this service
- Pay by debit card by calling 0845 900 5253 or online here

Energy Saver Card
You can join our Energy Saver Scheme. You are provided with a magnetic stripe card, which you can simply take along with your cash to a local PayPoint outlet (there are currently 150 outlets in the Greater Belfast area). The Energy Saver Scheme allows you to make payments towards your next bill. You will continue to receive bills each quarter showing the value, amounts and details of any outstanding balance (which must be settled immediately).
Pay As You Go
By using a Pay As You Go meter you can pay for your gas as and when you require it. A customer card will be supplied with the meter enabling you to take your cash to a local PayPoint outlet, of which there are over 150 in the Greater Belfast area (mainly in retail outlets and service stations). You are in control as you can choose the amount you wish to spend for your gas usage.
