General Manager, Phoenix Energy Services Ltd - Paul McKee

yesPaul is a chartered engineer registered with both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers. He is also a Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. He spent 10 years working in the gas service and engineering industry in N. Ireland with a major LPG supplier prior to the arrival of Natural Gas in N. Ireland. In 1998 Paul joined the Phoenix team holding a range of positions until taking up his current role. Paul is the General Manager of Phoenix Energy Services responsible for the safe operation of the 24 hour emergency service within industry standards of service, asset maintenance and the development of products and services to meet the needs of the gas consumer and meter reading activities.

 

Operations Manager, Phoenix Energy Services Ltd - Duncan Whelan

yesDuncan joined the gas industry in 1980 as an apprentice gas service engineer with British Gas and has worked extensively within the gas utilisation side of the industry in domestic, commercial and industrial environments. Undertaking numerous roles throughout his career the key focus has always been safety & customer service. In 1995 Duncan graduated with a B.Eng (hons) in Buildings Services Engineering and moved into a supervisory management role. In January 1998 Duncan joined the developing gas industry of N.I as a project engineer and subsequently joined Phoenix in September 1999 as Service Operations Manager. Duncan is now Operations Manager of Phoenix Energy Services responsible for delivering the safe operation of the 24 hour first response gas emergency service, asset maintenance and the wide range of service & repair products available to customers.

 

Operations Supervisor, Phoenix Energy Services Ltd - Kevin Doran

yesKevin has been involved in the heating industry for the last  25 years starting work with a major heating service company in Belfast. In 1994 he gained his Oftec (Oil) qualifications, completed his Nebs certificate ( National Examination Board for Supervisory Management ) and obtained qualifications as an internal auditor for the ISO 9002. With the arrival of Natural Gas in N.Ireland Kevin transferred his skills to this growing market becoming CORGI registered In 1997. Kevin joined the Phoenix team in 2001 as a Gas Service Technician and currently holds the position of Operations Supervisor. As Operations Supervisor Kevin is responsible for the day to day supervision of all field operatives involved in emergency response, asset maintenance and other revenue generating work.  

 

Administration Supervisor, Phoenix Energy Services Ltd - Mandy Black

yesMandy has an extensive administration background having worked with Phoenix now for over 10 years. She has had particular experience in supporting the company from its earliest operations in N. Ireland. Mandy now leads the administration team within Phoenix Energy Services as Administration Supervisor having held this position for the past 3 years. Her role is to motivate and drive her dedicated team forward adding to the success of Phoenix Energy Services with a professional, customer focused and efficient back-up support which is vital to the operations of our business.

 

Meter Reading Supervisor, Phoenix Energy Services Ltd - Neil Palmer

yesNeil joined the Phoenix team in 2001, following eight years retail management experience. As one of the original meter reading team Neil has played an integral role in designing and implementing new company procedures for all aspects of this important activity. In 2006 Neil was made Senior Meter reader and is currently seconded into the position of Meter Reading Supervisor. This role provides a link between Phoenix Supply  and Phoenix Energy Services which ensures the business receive accurate and reliable billing information for a wide range of domestic, commercial and contract customers. Neil also supports the management of the meter stores, ensuring resources and stock are available and accounted for on a daily/weekly basis.

 

Technical Support Officer, Phoenix Energy Services Ltd - Robert McConnell

yesRobert joined the Phoenix team in 2001 holding the position of Service Engineer responsible for responding to customer concerns, meter maintenance and providing boiler inspection and repair services. With the rapid development in the natural gas market and the growth in domestic boiler work Robert was promoted to Technician level and now holds the position of Technical Support Officer. In his current role Robert is responsible for supporting all engineers in the field with any technical problems, work audit, apprentice development and liaison with boiler manufacturer’s warranty agents and other specialist.
